About Brasswood Inn:
This is my absolute favorite place to stay in Provincetown! Besides being a beautiful, and newly renovated inn, it's run by two of the kindest, most delightful human beings: Tom and Brian!
"Our goal is to provide a warm, welcoming, and relaxed atmosphere for long-time and first-time visitors to the town. We also strive to create an inclusive space where underrepresented voices of the LGBTQ+ community can feel safe and comfortable...Everyone will have a place at the Brasswood, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, or country of origin. We look forward to welcoming you to our home!"
As inn owners, and being musicians themselves, they, "create an intentionally inclusive space that supports music as well as the artists themselves."
I am thrilled and proud to work with Brasswood Inn as the perfect place for the inaugural (and future!) Pamela Means Provincetown Songwriters Retreat!
Annnd, the term “Brasswood” is a musical reference drawing inspiration from the materials used to create Tom’s and Brian’s primary instruments: the trumpet (brass) and the marimba (wood), respectively.
"If I cannot fly, let me sing." - Stephen Sondheim
